1. What is Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)?
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) adds an extra layer of security to your account. In addition to your password, you'll be asked to enter a 6-digit verification code generated by an authenticator app on your mobile device.
This helps protect your account, even if someone else knows your password.
2. Do I have to use MFA?
No. MFA is currently optional. However, we strongly recommend enabling it to better protect your account.
3. Why am I being asked to set up MFA?
We're introducing Multi-Factor Authentication to provide additional protection for your account.
If you decide not to enable MFA right away, you'll receive another reminder at a later time.
4. Can I skip the MFA setup?
Yes. You can choose Remind Me Later or Skip for Now and continue using your account as usual.
5. Why am I seeing the MFA setup reminder again?
If you previously chose not to enable MFA, we'll remind you again later so you can set it up whenever it's convenient for you.
6. Which authenticator apps can I use?
Most authenticator apps that generate verification codes are supported, including:
Google Authenticator
Microsoft Authenticator
Authy
1Password
Bitwarden
Other compatible authenticator apps may also work.
7. How do I set up MFA?
1. Sign in to your account.
2. Select Set Up Now.
3. Scan the QR code using your authenticator app.
4. Enter the 6-digit verification code displayed in the app.
5. Save your recovery codes in a safe place.
8. What are Recovery Codes?
Recovery Codes are one-time-use codes that allow you to sign in if you no longer have access to your authenticator app.
Please store them in a safe place, such as a password manager or another secure location.
9. I lost my phone. How can I sign in?
If you saved your Recovery Codes, you can use one of them to sign in.
If you no longer have access to your phone or your Recovery Codes, please contact us via our contact form.
10. Can I change my password?
Yes. You can change your password in the Account Security section of your account.
11. Can I remove or replace my authenticator app?
Yes. You can manage your authentication methods at any time in the Account Security section.
12. Will I need to enter a verification code every time I sign in?
